AskAdmin

AskAdmin is a program that allows you to block access to certain apps on a computer. This means you can share a PC with other people, but limit general access to certain programs, services or sensitive files.

The way AskAdmin works is very simple. Just select the executables of the apps that you want to restrict for other users and add them to the list. This list is where you can easily manage all restricted apps, unblocking them with a single click if required. Bear in mind that in most cases you will have to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

As well as blocking apps and programs, AskAdmin allows you to block some of the most common (but also potentially dangerous) Windows services. For example, you can block the Windows Registry Editor, as well as the Task Manager. Restricting access to either of these two services for other users of the PC is as simple as checking a box. You can also add other services with ease.

AskAdmin is a useful tool if you share a PC on a regular basis, and do not want other users to be able to alter some of the key functions or features of the computer. It can even be very useful to restrict playing time on certain video games.
